Turn supported 3D meshes into statically checked G-code.

3D printing

What it does

Generates, inspects, dry-runs, and statically validates plain FDM G-code from supported 3D mesh files using real slicer CLIs.

When to use it

Use when slicing supported mesh formats, discovering local slicers, inspecting mesh readiness, or validating generated G-code.

How to use it

Give it a supported mesh and an explicit printer/profile wrapper JSON; it produces and validates plain G-code on the computer.

What you need · 4

Python is required to run the bundled G-code helper.

Generating G-code requires an installed real slicer CLI; the preferred order is orcaslicer, prusa-slicer, then curaengine.

trimesh enables conversion of .ply, .glb, and .gltf inputs to temporary STL during execution.

Unsupported CAD and drawing inputs are routed to $cad to create a sliceable STL before returning to this skill.
