Node.js 20 or newer must be installed for CDK project setup.

The AWS CDK CLI must be installed as an exactly pinned development dependency and invoked through npx.

Bootstrapping requires a target AWS account and near-administrator permissions in it.

Python 3.9 or newer is additionally required when creating Python CDK projects.
