spec-driven development

What it does

When to use it

Use it to implement a specification, verify implementation conformance, set up an SDD project, or check drift before merging.

How to use it

indexion must be installed and able to detect the project's language before the drift gates and validation loop run.

The documented workflow calls the Codex CLI for design, task generation, implementation, and repair sessions.

jq is used to approve phases in spec.json and parse Codex JSONL events.

Delegates refinement of generated requirements into EARS format with acceptance criteria.
