Requires python3 for the hooks that parse JSON input; if it is absent, those hooks are skipped with a warning.
Required when context-reprime is selected: the sessionStart hook runs this skill's prime script with --json.
The version-check hook delegates version checking to this skill, at most once per hour; whether its installation is required is unstated.
