Tested AWS Glue connections to your databases.
Creates and tests reusable AWS Glue connections to external databases and data warehouses without moving their data.
When to use it
Use when registering a database source, setting up a Glue connection, testing an existing connection, or troubleshooting connection failures.
Give it a connection request; it gathers source details with you and creates or verifies a tested connection in your AWS account.
Requires an AWS account accessible with credentials in the confirmed target region.
For JDBC password authentication, sends the database username and password to AWS Secrets Manager; supported IAM authentication is the preferred alternative.
