Smaller Docker images with faster, safer builds.
Guides agents to improve Dockerfiles for faster builds, smaller runtime images, and non-root execution.
When to use it
Use when creating, optimizing, or reviewing Dockerfiles, or improving a project's .dockerignore.
It changes how the agent writes and reviews Dockerfiles, applying rules for image size, caching, build context hygiene, and runtime security.
What you provide
Requires Docker 23.0+ with BuildKit enabled by default; Docker 20.10–22.x requires setting DOCKER_BUILDKIT=1 before building.
For builds that need npm registry credentials, passes $HOME/.npmrc as a BuildKit secret; public-package builds can omit it.
