Understand your database schema from Metabase.
Interprets a project's Metabase metadata files to explain database schemas, column types, and foreign-key relationships.
When to use it
Use when reading, editing, or understanding exported Metabase metadata, or reasoning about a project's schema through its metadata folder.
Give it a question about the project's database schema; it answers using the extracted metadata tree.
What you provide
Fetching or refreshing metadata requires a Metabase instance with the metadata export endpoint; an existing metadata tree can be used without refetching.
For metadata export or refresh, the example reads the API key from the environment and sends it in the X-API-Key header.
This skill
.metadata/table_metadata.json
